Please pray that members of Congress can reach an agreement and avoid a shut-down. Not only do shut-downs hurt government employees, they also hurt regular citizens who rely on the government and government services. The reach is wide and everyone is impacted in some way. Please pray that members of Congress put their egos aside, make good decisions, compromise, and reach agreements in the best interest of all citizens. Please pray that a shut-down is avoided.
