First, please pray for my granddaughter as she struggles with mental health issues that are now leading to legal problems and alcohol abuse. At work I have been required to recite karakia, Maori traditional spiritual incantation calling on spirits of ancestors and Maori gods. I stated I am happy to be respectfully present but not to recite the non Christian prayers. I was told it is an institutional requirement. This goes against our Human Rights Act, but some in NZ have lost practicing licenses or been maneuvered out of jobs if they don't participate. Please pray for courage to speak God's truth and protection of my job and income.

Please pray for us to find an excellent therapist for my mother. Mom is 89 and recovering from a mild stroke. She needs help using her hands to operate a phone, brush her teeth, and holding items. An occupational therapist with the skills and a caring attitude is what we're asking the Lord to send us.
